• Dear Reader…

Maybe you are reading here today to get truth into your soul for some part of life that is needing direction. I start my weekly blog email list with Dear Reader. Because to me, it’s intimate. These are the people who are with me in appreciating truth. They’re the ones who sign up to get my regular weekly messages rolling around within that has got to get out! I’ve had a burning desire to write since I found writing utensils. Ever since a pencil was put in my hand and guided along as letters were formed on the paper in front of me. I loved it. The shapes turned into…

  • Supernaturally standing out

Some people naturally stand out. Though it isn’t a problem for me to admit that I was made to be different, I am not the person who always said: “I was made to stand out!” Lol. All I really am is an average person who met the incredible God. And He made me different. I’m not spectacular or even the better half of my marriage especially if you’re counting up who has the most followers on the socials! But when I decide that The Living God will move through me- once I become available to that, then The Supernatural is going to show up in some way. It’s my surrender.…

  • Throwing Lifelines

Extending hope in times of difficulty is throwing a life line. Saying a prayer is throwing a life line. Being there when somebody is crashing down, giving a person discipline and guidance in a time that calls for it, is being a lifeline. Having an answer or just pointing them in a right direction, is tossing a spiritual rope of life in their direction! Human lifelines can be objects of obedience that act as pulleys. These “pulleys” are designed to support movement and change. They make it easier to lift what is heavy. They create a system of help that makes the difference.A couple months ago, I was able to…

  • New Life Levels

Are you living with the faith that wins over fear, worry, and doubts? About your life, your health, your goals, and dreams? When we can put these things behind us, we can move FWD!! Doubts about who you are and what your life will come to be, worry over your body and things that aren’t good or right, fear in not reaching your goals or accomplishing the dreams that’s been put inside… all of this adds up to loss and lack. It leaves us with a worn down spirit. But when we let the Words of Life flow through our veins, our relationships, and our living room- when we repeat…

  • Release your grip. Part 2!

“The Father loves the Son & has placed everything in his hands.” -John 3:35 How can we release our grip? The struggle is real when we don’t give it (the problem, the issue, the thing) up. Release wins a battle!! Open fisted. Remember, when we participate in strife, we will lose. But since the Father placed everything in the Son’s hands because of His love for Him, we ought to find that love and trust for Christ also. You may as well hand it over. Take a moment. In silence. In subjection. I often in prayer, lift my hands to Him to make sure I don’t keep in my hands what’s suppose to stay in…

  • Release your grip. Part 1!

“To Do Va Estar Bien. Everything will be Alright.” -Song by Danny Gokey. “It’s out of my hands.” -Song by Jeremy Camp. When we keep things in our hands and don’t want to give it up to Jesus, it is a refusal. It eventually ends up looking like a balled up fist. A point of strife! When we refuse to worship God… I sense the Spirit of God saying this: Worship is right here at our fingertips and strife is right there too. We can choose to give God control. Or. We can choose strife… when we choose the latter, that’s the point where anger explodes- That’s when we make…

  • Look over your shoulder!

…We’ll be minding our business and something catches our attention out of the corner of our eye… Sometimes you have to look over your shoulder to make sure you’re not being stolen from, bullied, or used. Resist what the devil is doing and he will “flee” when you’re submitted to God. One day while standing at the sink doing dishes, I started to hear Ardo (our little white Maltitzu) whine a little bit. He just had a bath and was sitting with his treat. I had already given our french bulldog (Rollie) the same kind of treat after his bath, however, he consumes it like a piranha. Two minutes later,…

  • When I can’t

What song will you sing while you’re grieving something or someone? Big Daddy Weave’s new song All things new, has been on my mind and it’s the song I’m singing lately. As I do, a picture of Mike and Jay Weaver goes through my heart. When we first started ministry, they (along with their team) were our Worship leaders in Youth services. We knew that they’d go places with those big voices and all that talent. Jay Weaver recently passed due to Covid after he lost his leg with the struggle of diabetes. So as I hear the music of this precious song begin, I make it a prayer. I…

  • HEALING COME!

Recently as I grimaced while working my shoulder out at the gym, a man walks by and says: “Don’t hurt yourself now.” I didn’t have to think. My response: “Oh I’m already hurt. I’m here to heal.” Relatably, he says: “I know how that feels.” For three years, I’ve endured a pain in my shoulder that never existed before. The tremendous stiffining pain took my attention. It distracted me from listening intently to people. I heard them but I almost always was in another land. Full of agony. God is meeting me each time I’ve been and am in my place of pain. Instead of backing away from faithfulness, He’s…

  • My Short Story

GOD TRANSFORMS TROUBLE. Especially when we say: “I’ve done wrong and I am not innocent. But. No longer am I going to fall under the spells and spasms of fear!” Here is the short version of my story… Most of the time, a testimony starts with a hardship whether it was/is or wasn’t/isn’t our fault. I went through a hardship. I did wrong. I was troubled for a few years. I got into some relationships that weren’t the best. My life took a turn for the worst but then Jesus still caught up with me. (Even though I had veered off the path of the straight and narrow, He made…
