• Shed a good light

Starting in Genesis, God brought light into everyday life. Plants lean into it. People can’t exist without it. In the New Testament, God shed a bright light to get a man’s attention. This man was someone who spread bad energy around. Saul even killed Christians. But one day. On a road to Damascus. Saul was “blinded (3 days) by the light” that changed his life. Saul was on his way with wrong intentions, threats, and imprisonment in mind for the Lord’s disciples. To harm. Christians. But God’s light changed his course. It suddenly flashed around him from heaven! Saul fell to the ground and heard a voice. Jesus spoke directly…

  • Light-Minded

One of our greatest challenges is to be light minded. Some of us are naturally heavy thinkers. I’m not talking about being frivolous or its opposite which is thinking heavy thoughts. I’m speaking of the path of righteousness. “The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day.” When I “set my mind on things above,” I am directing my attention off trivial matters and serious attitudes. The gold metal sign said “Vision” and it was placed there to remind people coming in to pray, that vision is important. Since then, the Vision Room has become a Stronger Women’s devotion class. It’s our “Sisters” room. Great bible studies and sharing of stories bring us to a renewed commitment to Christ and experiencing Life Change. The vision for prayer has grown. Different people have interceded through the years. The vision never…

  • This is the Day

“One of the greatest things we can do in life is influence other people for the better.” – Tim Tebow- “Reclaim your dream. Ignite your passion. Live your purpose.” I recently heard a passionate clip about our purpose on SadieRob’s podcast (Whoathatsgoodpodcast) with Tim and Demi Tebow. They talked about being used of God in their marriage, etc. and it reminded me of Tim’s book This is the Day. So here’s a review of it for anyone who’s needing a positive outlook. It takes a whole lot of work to get and keep the right perspective! In his book, Tim teaches us that when we decide to do something different…
