• Energizing the Ordinary

LEARN TO ENERGIZE THE ORDINARY by being creatively noncompliant with ego. We let go of our ego to see the worth and importance of other people and what they have to offer. That means we resist going along with the crowd or what is popular. The ulterior? Yes it creeps in sometimes. Ulterior is “existing beyond what is obvious or admitted; intentionally hidden.” Ulterior motives can often: 1. Translate messages. 2. Take things out of context. 3. Miss the point. 4. Deflate energy. Self-importance translates selfish. This is where no one else leaves feeling significant. But when we know our value, we can circulate value: God-importance translates significance. This is where someone else is…

  • King of Wisdom…

“To the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, be the glory forever. Amen.” Romans 16:27 God “established the world by His wisdom” Jer. 10:12, “made the heavens with skill, for His lovingkindness is everlasting” Psalm 136:5. The gold metal sign said “Vision” and it was placed there to remind people coming in to pray, that vision is important. Since then, the Vision Room has become a Stronger Women’s devotion class. It’s our “Sisters” room. Great bible studies and sharing of stories bring us to a renewed commitment to Christ and experiencing Life Change. The vision for prayer has grown. Different people have interceded through the years. The vision never…

  • Hope is Huge

Maybe you’ve heard it said: “Healed people do healed things.” Maybe you have also heard: “You’re set apart for a specific task.” Whether we believe we are healed and set apart or not, He is the God of hope. Whether we’ve had a good night’s sleep or not– He is the God of hope. Whether we’re happy with our lives at this moment or not– He’s the God of hope. That’s huge. That’s tremendous. Enormous. Massive. Extensive. God’s hope for us is far reaching. It covers us. It birth’s dreams. Hope can lengthen our lives. I don’t normally write about my brother’s battle with lymphoma. It was huge. Some days…
