Heaven is open
You really don’t always know what heroes of the faith go through. But I live with one. He still needs an open heaven to send his prayers to. Because…There aren’t any flashy bright outfits with capes. And often times, his family knows this best. They try very hard not to have great needs because there are so many who do, surrounding us. And. Heroes need a Hero too! We turn to our Jesus. When Hell attacks. He’s the One that doesn’t need the power company to turn the lights back on or to be the Light of my world, or your world. Anyone who’s married knows the lights can dim…

The Seeing Man
Bart told Jesus he wants to see. When Jesus says: “Go, your faith’s healed you”… I hear “Go live your life! Go and be free from confinement and discouragement and darkness. Go, you’re released from this thing.” Bartimaeus chooses to now follow Jesus. He’s received his sight. He has been given mercy and a miracle!! MAYBE TODAY YOU’RE STANDING IN GOD’S HONEST TRUTH. You have sight. But you need to be giving other people the God’s Honest Truth. You don’t want to only be served; you want to serve. You want to give from the gifts you’ve been given, the blessings you have been blessed with. We give other people…

BLIND
Some of us have been at a place that we know we aren’t seeing what we need to see. We’ve had to learn to listen in the Spirit. We’ve had to wait for Jesus to come closer. Blind Bartimaeus was use to the begging kind of life. He was not yet able to follow in example of Jesus, the One who came not to be served but to serve, as it says in Mark 10:45 just above the story of Bartimaeus. Because of the blind man’s condition, he was having to be served. Maybe we are unable to see due to injury, disease, or a congenital condition. Maybe we are…

Hope Restorer’s House
The Hope Restorer wants to restore lives. He wants to mend marriages, ministries, ministers, and much more. Our hope has been damaged in parenting, in marriage, in life – but it is still intact. I want to speak to the people who’s hope has been damaged. At the Hope Restorer’s House, we get to be fueled and re-filled. We get to see lives healed. We get to be apart of those who have need of their hope to stay intact! He can turn graves into gardens but sometimes we’ve got to raise a hallelujah. No it doesn’t have to be in a church setting but it often is going to…

While I Sleep
I do not have to worry my way through life. I might need to work my way through some trials but I don’t need to worry my way through because He’s going to take care of things while I sleep. He is going to align every detail and put things in proper order even while I sleep... Why? Because that’s what I prayed when I woke up in the night with a hundred little thoughts. I traded my worry for wonder. WONDER of what He’ll do with all of it. CURIOUS as to how He’s going to manage another miracle. ENCOURAGED about how He will come through “with flying colors”!…

Stillness
MANY TIMES A LACK OF SOUND CAN BRING THE RICHEST ANSWERS… I’ve been in a season of stillness. And in this position, I’m noticing when Jesus spoke and when He had nothing to say! There were times He answered all the questions and there were times “He remained silent and gave no reply.” Knowing when to show up- speak up- or stay still, is quite a hard lesson for me. Not giving answers when you have some. Not showing up to every single service, event, conference, prayer intercession, meeting, party, or occasion. For two decades, it seemed I did! Even when I was not mentally there, I was physically present.…

Firmly Standing
Did you get knocked down a bunch of times like I did before finally finding a way to stand stronger? The red words in our bibles say this: “…the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.” When we are saved or rescued, we’re kept in health and well being! We are given the chance to recover. That is what Jesus does for us. By firmly standing, He modeled what it is to not stop during most difficult seasons. A firm stand is this… Resilient- Fixed- Decided- Settled- Definitely Established- Not uncertain. Having the opposite of a firm stand is this… Compromising- Fickle- Fluctuating- Hesitating- Undecided- Unhealthy. We…

I’m Eligible!
Just because you had something terrible come up, doesn’t mean you are ineligible now to have good things come your way… Just because you got sick, doesn’t mean you’re not eligible for healing. Or that you’re never going to heal up. Even if you’ve plummeted financially, you’re still eligible to financially thrive. I’m not asking if you believe in miracles. Not that healing can’t happen in a quick and amazing way. But I’m talking about the healing that’s a process of becoming whole again. If this is what you need in an area of your life, please accept prayer from your church leaders or by those you consider proven mentors.…

Let It Grow
What are you putting your faith into today that’s going to produce a harvest in your future? Currently, me and my husband Derek, are putting money toward paying off our home! It’s a big goal to accomplish in the time frame of just three years. But what a great thing to do together- SOMETHING BIG. When we first asked each other how long it could take to pay our house off, it seemed like just a possibility to entertain. Now it is more than that! We wrote it down as a declaration and we see that our belief in it is causing our actions to follow suit. Once this is…

A Growing Faith
I read about the mustard seed again in September. Then I shared my thoughts with our congregation… Our faith is likened to a little mustard seed so often. If you have faith that small, you can do great things. Many things only require a little bit of faith. But what if you and I cultivate our faith? If we see it like a seed then it definitely can be planted into other people! And that’s what I want out of the faith I have been given. I don’t want it wasted. I want it growing. I want it making a difference in the world. I hope to God it isn’t…
