• God’s Road

Walking the road of God can help us regain our focus. We can start again at what we thought we would always fail. Who doesn’t need a road to heal on? His is a road and a walk of true healing. Zechariah 10:12 is a very important scripture for me. It says that I’ll be strengthened in the Lord and in His name, I will live securely. It doesn’t say this is going to happen on all my good days only. It’s saying all my life! On my bad days. On my worst days. I can live with God’s strength at the forefront. The road of God is refreshing and…

  • The point of real change

Some people have never given God a turn to do something great in their life because they have to control things. We learned last week that it’s when we know the value of God’s Truth and getting answers from it, that we then can be brought to a point of real change. Pride stays around in those who do not value God, others, or themselves. You have to kick pride out. You have to stay open to Truth- and you will need to be committed to it in the great times and also in terrible times. Just try and put a value on God’s Truth! You may not realize it…

  • The Power of Truth

Truth has the power to do many things… if we value it. Take a moment to assess your situation with wisdom. Access wisdom for the thing that’s in your heart! In your moment of strength or your moment of weakness, there are four things you/we can learn from allowing the clear voice of what’s true in the circle of the situation. When the convicting and convincing power of truth is able to work on us and rest inside us, this is what happens: It will 1.) Change our ways. 2.) Help us make plans. 3.) Give us new vision. 4.) Push pride out. I hope you are seeing the formula…

  • No longer hiding.

Hey at some point you need to stop being hidden. Well what I mean is, if you’re wanting to make an impact on this earth while you are here, with the people who are still alive at this point in time… you will need to stop staying so concealed. You’ll need to be: Less Secretive. Less out of sight and out of mind. What are you avoiding? What are you preserving? Maybe you’re avoiding one thing. Or everything. Maybe you’re avoiding an individual. Or every individual, group, environment, activity. Possibly, you and I are trying to preserve ourselves; We all do it to a certain degree and for good reasons…

  • Is It Burnout?

I answered the phone at work and an older man’s voice said: “Hey, I’ll be back in the gym soon. I just wanted ya’ll to know what’s been going on with me. I’ve had a down-in-the-dumps situation…. ” I told him: “Mr. so and so, you are not the only one! There are many people pushing through these times and I’m thankful for your honesty. I am also appreciative of the accountability you are setting up for yourself by calling and telling someone! We want you to be healthy. We want you to get back at what helps you be better and living life well.” These conversations are happening all…

  • Distractions & Attractions- Part 2/Conclusion

My conclusion to all of this is that we all need a certain amount of healthy attention. To get our needs met, our desires may have to change somewhat. It’s not all about the supernatural OR the natural. It’s about BOTH because we are human with an everlasting God involved within us and around us! Our desires should be well balanced between what we need, what others need, and then topped with what God’s design is for us. In the mix of attention difficulties, are people who struggle with developmental differences that interfere with many relationships and are ongoing patterns of trouble and even discouragement. Each one of us probably…

  • Distractions & Attractions- Part 1

During this rather long series, we’ve jumped into a tough subject about attention. Though it hasn’t been the easiest to write about, it’s just time to discuss it! Today, we’ll ease into the 2 part topic of distractions and attractions. SOMETIMES STANDING OUT MEANS A CHANCE TO DO SOMETHING VERY POSITIVE IN THE LIVES OF OTHERS. I think most of us inwardly have at-least a tiny or maybe an enormous fear that we could walk this earth and no one remember us or know that we were really even here. It’s just my theory of one reason or cause for us to want some kind of attention. May it be…

  • Healthy Attention

Trying to gain a healthy focus when it comes to attention, can be one of the biggest challenges of all time. Though I don’t normally put much emphasis on the physical, I am currently choosing to accept challenges that make me better equipped to bring in the kind of awareness or regard that could be used to direct others toward the One who can really help them. I’m finding the balance between extreme immodesty (too proud in speech, dress, or conduct) of culture and extreme modesty of religions, and in that- I am finding out how to let the supernatural stand out!! I knew it was possible but it’s been…

  • “Like” YOU!

If you don’t like you, you’ll give off vibes to other people. Those vibes will keep most people away. Believe me, it isn’t good to push the right people away. You need to be around folks who’ve got a healthy outlook about themselves, and learn something from them.God may not have us going down the same exact path and that’s okay. Go the right way based on where He is leading you. Follow. Trust and obey. Here are three things to straighten SELF out and like YOU again! Pursue Integrity. Become honest again instead of trying to hide what’s bothering you. Get help if you need it. Be willing to…

  • The God Path

Don’t follow every brainstorm. Do you know that if you stay ON the path with God and your mind starts to get OFF track for whatever reason, it’s a lot faster to get it back right if you’ve stayed committed to the God Path? Is there a part or piece of the Truth that is perplexing you today? The truth is perplexing sometimes right? It’s beautiful. Lovely. It’s incredibly intriguing but it also repels some people. Cause they’re not ready to hear it, or they are not receiving it or open to it. Have you ever held your head like I have and said: “I don’t understand this. I’m baffled.…
