Hope is Huge
Maybe you’ve heard it said: “Healed people do healed things.” Maybe you have also heard: “You’re set apart for a specific task.” Whether we believe we are healed and set apart or not, He is the God of hope. Whether we’ve had a good night’s sleep or not– He is the God of hope. Whether we’re happy with our lives at this moment or not– He’s the God of hope. That’s huge. That’s tremendous. Enormous. Massive. Extensive. God’s hope for us is far reaching. It covers us. It birth’s dreams. Hope can lengthen our lives. I don’t normally write about my brother’s battle with lymphoma. It was huge. Some days…

“I’m praying for you”
What does “I am praying for you” mean? It means I believe enough to take your situation to our Creator. He can do something: In your situation. About your need. When I pray, it tells someone else they should keep hoping! And it means that I want them and what they’re dealing with, brought to Jesus for healing in some way. My prayer goes beyond even what I can do for people. It invites God’s involvement. There is nothing more exciting than having Him with us. We’ve heard it said many times: “In His presence are answers.” My husband mentions the praying hands emoji we use on all the socials…

ALL- SURPASSING #4
Amazingly enough, Christ’s characteristics can live through the lives we live. Live life as a BELIEVER. Satan can seduce you into sin and falsehood. If you’re an unbeliever, he will hold you back from seeing greater things happen. The enemy can keep you (believer or not) from rising up. By submitting to God and His all-surpassing power, you can then resist the devil’s ways of stopping you and blocking you. God does things at a greater degree. His performance surpasses any other. Get ready to be a host to the Holy Ghost. Access, receive, and entertain Him as your guest. Prepare to be a host to miracles…welcome them in! Do…

ALL- SURPASSING #3
**** What if you found out today that Satan has been preventing you from the greatest treasures you could ever have, simply by using disbelief against you?! This inability (It could also be a refusal to accept that something is true or real. See 2 Thess. 2:11) comes from a lack of sufficient power within ourselves. We must recognize our need. We have to decide that the all- surpassing power of God, will be our sufficient help! While so much of the human race wanders around powerless due to a lack in belief and faith… Verse 4 in 2 Cor. Ch. 4 says “the god of this age (Satan) has…

ALL SURPASSING #2
We have the good news about salvation as precious treasure. 2 Cor. 4:7. Within our own human vessels or “clay jars” as one version puts it, there is a power from God. His sufficiency doesn’t come from us; it’s the other way around, of course. Our sufficiency comes from Him! He’s the One with the power. It originated with Him. It is all- surpassing. I marvel at the people who convince themselves that they are invincible. When you think about it though, they are obviously aware of a power inside. However, maybe they haven’t acknowledged it as God’s yet. Until then, that power could be used and abused. Grace allows…

ALL-SURPASSING #1
Power. There is an incomparable touch on our lives when we accept the ALL-SURPASSING power from God. His is an outstanding power that exceeds all other powers. You may have dealt with powerful people. You may have come up against powerful principalities too. But God, His power surpasses all. He’s superior, beyond excellent. He transcends our range of capability. If we are not moving in faith beyond our abilities, we are not seeing passed what humans can do. If we have an active spiritual life, resurrection life of a risen Savior, can be shown in us when we get back up from the world’s hard hits. To the glory of…

The rare things
At the end of a mundane prayer time recently, I asked God for the rare. I had been going through prayers for people that I’ve prayed before. It just seemed to be a lot of the same. When I prayed for rare things to happen, for rare doors to open, for specific rare things to take place, I felt God say: “Why not ask for the rare?!” Things got exciting and I left the dark, nightly lit room eager to see what will come of such a simple request. Rare things aren’t found in large numbers of mass quantity. You can seldom find something rare because it is uncommon. That’s…

The Power of Favor by Joel Osteen
“I’ve heard it said, ‘One touch of favor is worth more than a lifetime of labor’. Noah continually followed God’s will, did what was right and found favor with the Lord. Favor didn’t keep Daniel out of trouble. The trouble was a setup for God to endorse Daniel, to bring him into prominence. When David defeated Goliath, that one good break, that one endorsement, launched him into a new level of his destiny, and it made up for all those lonely years. Joseph had favor in everything he did.” Joel tells us one thing he’s learned: “…you can’t keep a favored man or woman down. You may have some obstacles,…
