The God of Hope…
NOTE TO SELF: THE GOD OF HOPE HAS PLENTY OF IT; THE GOD OF HOPE IS THE SUPPLIER OF MINE.
He’s active and alert for every action and operation. God’s very existence and all that He lovingly does, is to keep hope living. It is to keep the fire burning, to keep our affections alive and to keep us passionate for the Christ. Don’t think for a minute that the Creator of all has lost all His creativity, energy, and excitement.
Think Well. Think Strength. Think Healing. Think Safe. Connection. Communion. Life. Hope. Psalm 46:1 says “God is a safe place to hide, ready to help when we need Him.”
One definition of having life is that it’s “in opposition to dead.” Your brain, body, heart, and spiritual activity shouldn’t be the same as someone who is dead! We have a living Hope. Be at Peace. Hope for something! Believe it can happen. Trust that it is possible…that it’s highly likely.
Gen. 18:14 “Is anything too hard for God?” Sarah had plenty of hope when she saw the newborn in front of her eyes! She waited for this. She even tried to make it happen. But God had an appointed time for Sarah to have what she hoped for! You’re going to have plenty of hope from the God who has plenty. He has lively feelings for you! He’s not apathetic.
Psalm 62:5-12 “Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from Him…He is my refuge…You reward everyone according to what they have done.” I have given away a lot of hope and I know that when I need hope, there will be plenty. Romans 15:13 calls Him the God of hope. It states: “May the God of hope fill you…so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” This tells me He has plenty of hope because He is the God of it! If I don’t have enough, He can give it. He is hope so He can supply us with it at anytime.
He’s help. He’s refuge. He’s strength. He’s hope. When things get tough and I mumble under my breath something like: “Why do I keep doing this?” I have to look to where I’ve gotten hope before. I look to the big sky that my Hope made. My Hope made me too. My Hope made a way. He will do it again. Do you have hope supply today? Declare these statements below.
