King of Wisdom…

“To the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, be the glory forever. Amen.” Romans 16:27

God “established the world by His wisdom” Jer. 10:12, “made the heavens with skill, for His lovingkindness is everlasting” Psalm 136:5. Since He did all that, He can set up what we need when we need it. He is the Spirit of counsel and strength. Out of depths of hurt, He can bring forth answers.

When done wrong by people who were suppose to do right, we could forget that the plan is for us to be “free” from that bondage- Not to be trapped in it forever and ever…never to be our true and real selves. If we stick with callousness, we will stay empty of all the right things. We will be full of revenge and wrong things. But when we turn it over to God and begin to live this life for Him, WE WILL BE FULL… and it won’t be of pride. Or hate. Or haughtiness. It will be of gratitude. It will be of honesty about why we were tempted to live the old way. It will be of courage to take action against being mistreated. It will be of help for others to get out of destructive lifestyles and pain. It will be of wisdom for the way they can begin to write a redemption story of victory.

You and I will not be our real selves without Christ’s power invading every area of who we are and every choice we make. He has a life to give us that is free of bondages, lack, bitterness, and dissatisfaction.

Courage Questions: Isn’t it wisdom to fill our lives with Him? Isn’t it wisdom to establish our steps by Him?
