Faith Vibing

Are you tapping into that good feeling of faith? I know faith isn’t always a feeling, but sometimes it is! It can be due to good positive music that makes you feel a certain way, being in harmony with a place or mood, and learning to cultivate things that are hoped for! Here’s how you can make your church a faith vibing place to be:

If you’re friendly. Get in the foyer. Greet and guide people with natural ease. Stay there in that position of service to God until your smile makes such a difference, it begins to be a highlight of your church.

If you’re truthful. Get in the devotion classes and teach. Mix your truth with positivity, preparation, and humility. Stay there until the connections you foster make such a difference, that it is a highlight of your church.

If you’re wanting to add value but have limited time. Be a volunteer. Put your spin and creativity into the activities, special services, or fundraisers when you can be present. Don’t forget that a simple “Amen” during the message or an encouraging word afterward, does so much! Be apart until you make such a difference, that it becomes a highlight of the church you are in!

If you’re searching for where you should be utilized. Ask about being an usher. Help people find seats when they are new. Receive or bring in the offering for moving this church forward that you are committed to. Be there early to assist staff with any loose ends. And do this until you make such a difference, that what you are doing becomes a highlight of the church you are at.

If you’re a Worshipper. Be with the worship team, sound crew, etc. in some capacity. Even if it means just flowing with the service! Worshiping does not have to be singing only. It could be instrumental or even technical. It can be serving in many ways seen or unseen. And do that until what you are doing makes such a difference, that it strengthens people and becomes a highlight of church.

If you’re passionate about ministry. Become a mentee and then a mentor. Respectfully begin walking with a leader or staff member in the area of ministry they cover. You would do that until what you are doing becomes a highlight of that church and others want to be mentored by you and start to lead like you! Trust God with this process.

If you’re wanting to see people heal. Bring spiritual health to the body. Be apart of the altar time, prayer group, meal team, or outreach. They will support you and surround you with comfort of knowing you’ll see and experience miracles if you do not give up! Show up until what you are doing makes such a difference, that it brings life change and becomes a highlight of the church.

Be prepared when stepping into roles like these, for occasional situations to arise that may deter or squelch inspiration. Be determined to make an impact and you will make a difference that lasts. You will be a person that makes a mark wherever you’re placed. Put your faith into family, friends, and the framework of your everyday life. And you will see results.
